Avorow German Shepherds

Welcome to Avorow German Shepherds.  Avorow is a small kennel in the beautiful River Valley of Arkansas.  We are active in the sport of Schutzhund and compete with our dogs as members of both Schutzhund USA and GSDCA-WDA.  Our dogs are family members, and as such, tend to stay mostly in the house with us.  We do only a few carefully selected breedings each year and we retain dogs from our litters that will be our own future competition dogs.

All of our breeding animals are  certified for hip and elbow dysplasia either through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) or the German SV.   They must all demonstrate that they are of good temperament, have a high degree of trainability and be in robust health.

What We Do

We are a small hobby kennel.  We do not and will not mass produce dogs.  Our breedings are done to produce a specific set of genetic traits that we find desirable and we gladly offer puppies and young dogs to carefully approved homes.

• Select puppies and young dogs from proven bloodlines.
• Basic obedience, foundation Schutzhund and companion obedience.
• Stud service to approved females.
• Older dogs occasionally available.
